- Dapatkan domain dan hosting. (Jcow memerlukan PHP5 & MySQL4 / 5.) Ada beberapa perusahaan yang menyediakan kedua layanan pendaftaran domain hosting. (seperti Hostgator)
- Download Jcow SNS dari http://www.jcow.net/download unzip dan upload file & folder untuk hosting Anda.
- Buka http://your_domain/install.php pada browser web Anda, Anda akan melihat formulir instalasi. Isi bagian yang kosong dan mengirimkan formulir. Perhatikan bahwa Jcow tidak akan membuat database secara otomatis, jadi sebelum Anda menyerahkan formulir, Anda harus memastikan bahwa database telah dibuat. Hostgator hosting menyediakan Cpanel, di mana Anda dapat dengan mudah membuat database.
- Setelah formulir dikirimkan, jaringan Anda akan dibuat. Pergi ke jaringan anda dan sign up, anda (sebagai anggota pertama) akan menjadi administrator secara otomatis.
- Setelah masuk, Anda dapat melihat nama link "Admin CP" di sidebar. Klik saja dan Anda akan masuk ke admin panel.
- Selesai!

- Login ke cPanel Anda dan mencari Software / Services
- Dalam Softaculous ada Kategori 'Social Networking'. Buka kategori dan Jcow akan berada di sana. Klik di atasnya.
- Anda akan melihat TAB 'Install '. Klik itu.
- Isi dan Submit berbagai rincian.
- Selesai!
